About ShortSmith

ShortSmith is Windows video-editing software. It turns game streamers' replays into vertical Shorts with captions. It's free for 5 clips a month. Pro costs ₹299 a month or ₹2,590 a year including taxes, and every new account gets 14 days of Pro free.

Who I am

ShortSmith is made by Tanishq Raj Mandowara, an individual (sole proprietor) based in Bengaluru, India. I design, build and support ShortSmith myself. It was called clipforge until October 2026. Orders are sold through my reseller Dodo Payments, the Merchant of Record.

Why I made it

Streamers hit the replay hotkey all night and never get round to editing. ShortSmith does that editing for them. It finds the best moment, frames the facecam and the game for a vertical screen, and writes captions in the language they actually speak: Hindi, English or HinglishEnglish.
